Retail Bank restructure and full function outsource

The Skellig team managed the closure of a Retail Bank with the return of the banking licence and all associated project streams required to support this fundamental change.
The programme included the set up of an outsource arrangement for the management of the loan book with a third party provider on a long term business process outsource arrangement This was the most extensive and wide ranging BPO unertaken by the group globally.

The Skellig team worked with the senior management to initially assess the viability of a sale and then to complete the clsoure of one of Europe's largest on-line banks with more than 1 million customers in Germany and Belgium.
The closure was completed to plan, achieved the business benefits and with deposits safely returned to customers.

The Skellig team worked with the senior management team of Mitsubishi Electronics to establish a logal logistics operation.​
The team developed a RFQ and selection pocess and managed this through to legal contracting.​

Global Bank transfer (Ireland)

​Managed the Transfer of the Irish Corporate Banking entity to a new bank entity under a statutory transfer scheme as part of a wider global ownership transfer.
This required management of local Regulator communications, required legal changes, customer communications and related IT and operational changes to support the overall transfer.

This programme required the rationalisation of the nationwide branch network and re-distribution of customer servicing and establishment of a centralised service centre to achieve part of the cost saving targets required.
